Development Team Leader

outstaff company is seeking for his clientВ a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to manage and guide our offshore development team, responsible for maintaining and developing our remittance product. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, prior experience leading teams, and hands-on expertise in NestJS and React. Experience with PHP (legacy systems) is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

В· Lead, mentor, and manage a team consisting of senior, mid-level, and entry-level developers, a Flutter developer, and a QA engineer.

В· Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the remittance product.

В· Collaborate with the product team to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring the team delivers high-quality results on time.

В· Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency.

В· Define and enforce best practices for software development, including CI/CD processes and agile methodologies.

В· Work hands-on when necessary, contributing to the development of key features or resolving complex technical challenges.

В· Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues related to the technology stack (NestJS, React, and PHP).

В· Ensure smooth communication between the offshore team and the main office.

В· Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

В· Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development.

At least 3 years of experience in a Team Leader or similar role, managing cross-functional development teams.

Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in NestJS and backend development using TypeScript.

o Strong knowledge of React for building modern front-end applications.

o Experience working with PHP (legacy codebases) is an advantage.

o Familiarity with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.

o Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.

o Understanding of mobile development principles (Flutter experience is a plus).
