Web Designer & Front-End Developer (One Off Task)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Web Designer & Front-End Developer to redesign the website. This role requires a strong sense of aesthetics and user experience, along with solid front-end development capabilities. You will be responsible for both designing the visual look and feel of the site and implementing the HTML/CSS layout (and light JavaScript where needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Redesign the website’s user interface and enhance the overall user experience.


• Develop wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity design prototypes (if required)


• Convert designs into responsive, cross-browser-compatible HTML/CSS layouts (we prefer using Tailwind CSS).


• Ensure visual and functional consistency across devices and screen sizes.


• Optimize web pages for performance, speed, and accessibility.


• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align the design with business goals and messaging.

Requirements

• Proven experience in both web design and front-end development (in scope of implementing the HTML/CSS layout).


• Strong portfolio showcasing your previous work - please include links to recent projects.


• Experience with major CSS Frameworks, Ideally with Tailwind CSS.


• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.


• Solid understanding of HTML 5, CSS 3, and responsive design best practices.


• Basic JavaScript knowledge is a plus.


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.


• Strong grasp of UX/UI principles and modern web design trends.
