HTML/CSS Developer — Gitmir Ecosystem

Role
We are looking for an HTML/CSS Developer who will focus on clean, semantic, and responsive markup for both the Gitmir platform and projects created with it. You will be responsible for transforming design concepts into production-ready code, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, and contributing to Gitmir’s component library.

This role is ideal for someone who loves pixel-perfect work and enjoys making interfaces look and feel flawless.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive layouts based on Figma (or similar design tools).
  

• Implement clean, semantic, and maintainable HTML/CSS code.
  

• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  

• Work with Gitmir’s component library and contribute new reusable UI elements.
  

• Collaborate with designers and frontend developers to deliver polished user interfaces.
  

• Optimize performance of web pages for speed and accessibility.
  

• Support migration of existing legacy HTML/CSS into Gitmir projects.
  

Requirements

• Strong skills in HTML 5, CSS 3, and responsive/adaptive web design.
  

• Experience with preprocessors (Sass, LESS) and modern CSS practices (Flexbox, Grid).
  

• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  

• Familiarity with JavaScript basics for UI interactions.
  

• Experience working with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  

• Attention to detail and strong sense of design implementation.
  

• English proficiency for documentation and communication.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks.
  

• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
  

• Familiarity with Git and version control.
  

• Experience working in a team with designers and frontend engineers.
