Position: Night Shift Safety Coordinator (Outsourced)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | Night Shift

Department: Safety / Fleet Operations

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Shift Safety Coordinator to provide

outsourced safety support for our fleet operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to

monitor driver activity, address safety concerns, and coordinate repairs or emergency situations

during nighttime hours.

Key Responsibilities:

? Monitor and manage driver Hours of Service (HOS) to ensure compliance with

transportation regulations.

? Review and respond to safety events and driver alerts in the Samsara system,

including in-cab warnings and safety notifications.

? Coordinate and manage vehicle repair requests, including contacting roadside

assistance or maintenance providers when necessary.

? Respond to nighttime operational and safety emergencies, providing immediate

support and coordinating appropriate actions.

? Communicate with drivers to resolve safety issues and provide guidance when required.

? Escalate critical safety or operational concerns to the management team when

necessary.

? Maintain accurate records of incidents, repairs, and safety-related events during the

shift.

Requirements:

? Experience with fleet safety operations, transportation, or logistics preferred.

? Familiarity with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.

? Experience working with Samsara or similar fleet management systems is an asset.

? Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

? Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.

? Ability to work independently during overnight hours.

Preferred Skills:

? Knowledge of commercial truck operations and roadside repair coordination.

? Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

? High attention to detail and safety compliance.
